The Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to organize activities marking Vietnam Culture Day 2026 across the province.

The Organizing Committee of the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Sports Festival 2026 held a traditional torch relay ceremony at the Provincial Martyrs Cemetery in Trung An Ward.

The 2026 Halong Bay Heritage Marathon is expected to draw around 18,000 domestic and international runners when it takes place from November 20–22, with race day scheduled for November 22, organisers announced on August 2.
