Military Region 9 Inspects Combat Readiness along Dong Thap Province’s Border

(DTO) On December 17, at Thuong Phuoc International Border Gate Border Guard Station (Thuong Phuoc Commune), a working delegation from Military Region 9, led by Colonel Nguyen Chi Linh, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 9, conducted an inspection of combat readiness and assessed the situation along Dong Thap Province’s border area.

During the visit, the delegation directly inspected the combat readiness documentation system, operational plans, force organization, and weaponry and equipment. They also received briefings on the political security situation, as well as social order and safety in the border areas.

Following the inspection, the delegation acknowledged that the units have strictly maintained their combat readiness duties and enhanced their vigilance. They have also proactively coordinated with functional forces to ensure the security and safety of the area, preventing any passive or unexpected situations.

The delegation asked units to closely monitor developments, improve forecasting, and effectively handle emerging situations. This will help maintain stability along the Dong Thap border.
