National Assembly Vice Chairman Le Minh Hoan Presents Lunar New Year Gifts in Dong Thap

(DTO) On February 12, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan visited, extended Lunar New Year greetings, and presented gifts to poor households and families in difficult circumstances across Dong Thap Province.
In the communes of Tan Hong, An Phuoc, and Tam Nong, amid the warm atmosphere of the new spring, Vice Chairman Le Minh Hoan took time to talk with residents in border areas about their lives, shared in their hardships, and encouraged them to continue striving toward stable livelihoods.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 220 Lunar New Year gift sets to poor households and disadvantaged families, each valued at 2 million VND, with a total cost of 440 million VND.

During the working program, Vice Chairman Le Minh Hoan also visited the Nam Hung rice paper production facility in Tan Hong Commune, a long-standing facility of the area.

There, he learned about the production activities, business operations, and living conditions of workers, and acknowledged the efforts to preserve and develop the traditional craft, contributing to local employment.

The Vice Chairman expressed his hope that the facility would continue improving product quality, building its brand, and expanding market access, thereby contributing positively to the province’s socio-economic development.

On this occasion, he also presented a gift to Luong Nhat Huy, a 10th-grade student at Tan Hong High School, living in Bac Trang 1 Hamlet, Tan Hong Commune. Huy is an outstanding participant in the 2025-2026 STEM Product Fair with his project “All-Terrain Multipurpose Vehicle.”

Vice Chairman Le Minh Hoan encouraged Huy to continue nurturing creativity, pursuing his passion for scientific research, and striving for academic excellence to become a valuable contributor to society.
