2026 "Don Ca Tai Tu" Exchange Space Program
(DTO) Within the framework of the Ceremony to receive the National Intangible Cultural Heritage certificate and the 159th Commemoration of National Heroes Thien Ho Duong and Doc Binh Kieu, on the evening of January 2, the Provincial Arts and Culture Center organized the "2026 Don Ca Tai Tu Exchange Space" held at the Go Thap Special National Relic Site (Doc Binh Kieu Commune), the program attracted a large number of locals and tourists.

At the program, artisans of Don Ca Tai Tu and "Ho Dong Thap" (Dong Thap Chanting), along with singers, artists, performers from the Provincial Arts and Culture Center, and collaborators from both inside and outside the province, delivered a variety of performances. These included Southern Vietnamese folk songs, Don Ca Tai Tu, Ho Dong Thap, and elaborately staged Cai Luong (reformed opera) excerpts that deeply reflect traditional cultural identity.

Notable performances included: "Uncle Ho in My Heart," "Tien Giang - Dong Thap," "Dong Thap: The Fragrance of Lotus Flowers," and an instrumental ensemble of "Doan Khuc Lam Giang - Vong Kim Lang." The audience also enjoyed Ho Dong Thap with the chant "Go Thap Lotus Flowers," alongside medleys celebrating the people and the "Land of the Pink Lotus."
A highlight of the evening was the Cai Luong excerpt "Worth of the Mistress" by author Thanh Long, which praises the courage, intelligence, and noble character of women in preserving family traditions and facing life's challenges.
Furthermore, visitors were treated to the Cai Luong play "The Fields of Ap Bac," performed by artists from the Provincial Arts and Culture Center in collaboration with guest artists from neighboring provinces.


The program serves as a meaningful activity to commemorate and pay tribute to the immense contributions of National Heroes Thien Ho Vo Duy Duong and Doc Binh Nguyen Tan Kieu to the nation. It also fosters a joyful yet solemn atmosphere during the 159th Commemoration, thereby promoting and spreading the artistic values of Don Ca Tai Tu and Ho Dong Thap (Dong Thap Chanting) to both local residents and visitors.
