Dong Thap Enterprises Kick Off New Year Operations
(DTO) Immediately following the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, on February 22 and 23 (the 6th and 7th days of the first lunar month), numerous enterprises across Dong Thap province launched their operations with vibrant enthusiasm and a firm determination to fulfill their 2026 production and business goals.

On the morning of the 7th day of Tet, the headquarters and transaction offices of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Tien Giang Branch (Vietcombank Tien Giang) simultaneously resumed operations after the holiday break.
According to reports, a large number of citizens visited Vietcombank Tien Giang on the first working morning of the new year to conduct transactions.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Director of Vietcombank Tien Giang, stated that customers on this morning primarily came to make deposits and open savings accounts. Notably, during the first week of returning to work, Vietcombank Tien Giang implemented a "lucky money" program for customers making deposits or opening new accounts, which attracted significant engagement. All staff members of the unit are committed to providing the best possible service to customers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet further added: "In 2026, Vietcombank Tien Giang will continue to promote non-cash payment activities. The unit will coordinate with local authorities to open accounts for social welfare beneficiaries and those with meritorious service to the revolution. At the same time, we will focus on opening accounts for workers and laborers in industrial parks and clusters to meet the payroll and non-cash payment needs of enterprises.
Vietcombank Tien Giang will also focus on providing low-cost capital support for small and medium-sized enterprises and household businesses to generate products for the economy. Additionally, the unit will concentrate on providing financing for large-scale production and business development projects in the area, as well as supporting capital for industrial enterprises and supporting industries..."

Also on the morning of the 7th day of Tet, Sao Vang Nong Thuan Phat Fertilizer Company (Trung An Ward) and Ninathai Joint Stock Company (Tan Phuoc 1 Commune) held their New Year opening ceremonies. Both enterprises operate in the fertilizer production and trading sector. In 2025, despite a challenging economic climate, flexible management and well-structured strategies enabled both companies to achieve positive business results. Building on this momentum, both firms have outlined specific plans and strategies for 2026.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ung, Director of Sao Vang Nong Thuan Phat Fertilizer Company, noted that in 2025, Ninathai Joint Stock Company achieved a growth rate of 79% compared to 2024, while Nong Thuan Phat saw nearly 7% growth. The latter was attributed to the impact of natural disasters during the final months of the year.
For 2026, Nong Thuan Phat aims for approximately 10% growth, while Ninathai Joint Stock Company is targeting a significant increase of at least 200%. This ambitious goal is driven by the strong shift among farmers from inorganic to organic fertilizers.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ung shared: "Initially, the company planned to reopen on the 10th day of Tet. However, due to high customer demand, we opened earlier than scheduled. On the very first day, Ninathai Joint Stock Company received about 10 orders from customers in the Central Highlands provinces.
In 2026, we will focus on maintaining growth for inorganic fertilizer products while specifically ramping up the growth of organic fertilizers produced by Ninathai.
Our strategy is to promote organic products to gradually change farming habits, thereby enhancing crop quality and value, moving towards a green and sustainable agricultural sector."

Similarly, on the morning of the 7th day of Tet, 100% of the staff and laborers at Tinh Bot Xanh Joint Stock Company (Tan Duong Commune) returned to work, commencing production for 2026 orders. On the production lines, each product is meticulously assembled. On this first day of operations, company leaders visited each workshop to meet and offer New Year greetings to the staff, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere.
Mr. Pham The Hai of Tinh Bot Xanh Joint Stock Company stated: "Entering 2026, a brighter outlook for orders has motivated the enterprise to jumpstart production plans for food products such as rice vermicelli, Beef Pho, and thick noodles (banh canh)..."
In these early days of the year, Nam Huy Dong Thap Co., Ltd. (Tan Nhuan Dong Commune) also kicked off with the goal of elevating the value of local agricultural products, focusing on manufacturing signature products that meet the standards of "Typical Rural Industrial Products." The enterprise emphasizes innovation and creativity to expand its markets and achieve sustainable development in the new year.

As of mid-January 2026, Dong Thap province has approximately 13,340 active enterprises. Over the years, these businesses have significantly contributed to the province's socio-economic development.
In 2026, all enterprises have demonstrated high determination to successfully fulfill their production and business targets, contributing to the province's overall economic mission.
