the President Ho Chi Minh bust.
The presentation of the busts is part of the policy of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense to strengthen national solidarity and show appreciation to localities. Under the policy, President Ho Chi Minh busts are being presented to 3,321 commune-level administrative units nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader, national liberation hero, and world cultural figure - devoted his entire life to the revolutionary cause, for national independence, and the freedom and happiness of the people. His ideology, morality, and lifestyle are the crystallization of the nation's traditions and humanity’s cultural quintessence, serving as a guiding light for the Party and people throughout every stage of the revolution. The image of President Ho Chi Minh not only belongs to history, but remains vivid in the actions, thoughts, and ethical standards of every cadre, Party member, and Vietnamese citizen today.

The 102 President Ho Chi Minh busts presented to 102 commune-level administrative units are not merely artistic works, but above all invaluable political and spiritual symbols. Placing the busts at grassroots level carries special significance, as communes and wards are closest to the people and directly implement President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching on building a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people”. The busts serve as a spiritual anchor, reminding cadres to self-reflect, self-correct, and remain upright, devoted, and responsible; and offer an education space for people, especially younger generations, to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example in the simplest acts.

Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong stated that the provincial leadership will direct localities to preserve, maintain, and promote to the fullest extent the special spiritual value of the busts, integrating them into political activities, Party cell activities, mass-organization activities, and patriotic emulation movements.
